OK, so I often hear friends talking about Celebrities and how some of them are “secretly Gay”. For example I have heard several people speculate that Daniel Radcliffe is gay. Which is fine. He could be I would be alright with that. I mean he say he has sex with women, but that doesn’t prove anything. Here’s the thing though: is this OK? I mean should we be speculating on such a thing? Basing weather or not someone is a homosexual based solely on how gay they Dress/talk/walk/hold their tea cup? isn’t that profiling? Isn’t that something that almost every other Minority group in the world finds offensive? I mean come on if there were a real witch hunt going on right now, this behaviour would be dangerous and irresponsible. Let’s say you are gay (for all I know you might be, no judgement), now imagine someone asks you if you are gay, and you tell them yes, now imagine they respond with “I knew it. I could tell by the way you talk!” how much would you want to punch them? Now I am just a straight guy speculating on what gay people may find offensive, so please let me know. are you OK with being a stereotype? isn’t the only real, true trait for being a homosexual the fact that you like same-sex sex?
